I began my career as a Registered General Nurse, qualifying in 1994 and working for ten years in a Hospice in Lancashire, providing nursing care for patients with life-threatening illnesses. It was during my time at the Hospice that I developed a keen interest in Natural Medicine and Complementary Therapies, deciding that it could enhance the well-being of those very poorly patients. I studied Aromatherapy to Advanced Level and followed this with Levels One, Two and Three (Master Level) in the Usui Ryoho Reiki System of Natural Healing. I began to use the therapies on staff and patients and found both therapies to be very helpful. I later qualified in EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and when clients began to ask about food intolerance testing and other health issues, I began to research various systems and discovered the Asyra Pro Electro-Dermal Screening System. I found it to be an excellent health assessment and treatment device. I underwent extensive training and continue to study at advanced level. With a range of holistic therapies available, I can help you to achieve a healthier and more balanced life.  

I firmly believe that there are natural ways to prevent and treat illness, through the use of diet, nutritional supplementation, complementary therapies, energy work, management of stress and several different ways to keep the mind, body and spirit fully functioning. Here at Natura Therapies, we look at the individual holistically, getting to the cause of the problems and finding the best way to encourage the body to heal itself, something it will do given the right tools.
